Business Analyst - Payments (Fintech)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid and flexible working available for most roles.

What you will do

• Evaluate and analyse payment processes to identify efficiency and improvement opportunities.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into payment solutions, documenting work in JIRA, Confluence, and the Service Request platform.
• Design and build functionalities in hirify.global for unified payment APIs, card and bank payouts, smart payment routing, notifications, and authentication services.
• Monitor payment industry regulations and standards.
• Troubleshoot customer issues, manage client interaction during testing, coordinate defect triage, bug fixing, and change requests.
• Collaborate with developers and participate in Agile practices and ceremonies.

Requirements

• Strong experience in a similar business analyst role.
• Experience developing with PL/SQL and Oracle databases or similar technologies.
• Experience in process analysis and engineering.
• Experience with defect triage.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues across different locations and cultures.

Nice to have

• Fluency in German.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• ACCP certification.
