Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner (CMS)

Location: Croatia, Poland, or Germany; requires approximately ten on-site client meetings in Magdeburg and availability during CET/CEST core working hours.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, structure, and document business and functional requirements for a public website, intranet, and new CMS.
• Plan and facilitate workshops with business departments, IT teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process models, data models, and information models.
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture and Technical Lead on integrations, security, non-functional requirements, and technical dependencies.
• Manage and prioritize the business backlog and participate in refinement sessions, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and project meetings.
• Support testing, UAT, formal acceptance, content migration, stakeholder communication, and the Project Manager as deputy SPOC.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex digital, web, CMS, portal, or intranet projects.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, workshops, and agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Practical experience with BPMN and/or UML, backlog management, UAT, and formal acceptance processes.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar collaboration and project management tools.
• Business-fluent German at a minimum C1 level and very good English for collaboration with international project teams.
• Availability during CET/CEST core working hours and willingness to attend approximately ten on-site meetings in Magdeburg.
