Business Analyst - Payments / PSP Integrations

What you will do

• Own the requirements phase for new PSP and payment-method integrations, from tenant requests to clear, testable specifications.
• Analyze PSP API documentation, payment flows, and webhook behavior across authorization, capture, refund, cancellation, and status-transition scenarios.
• Write and maintain functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira and Confluence, including complex edge cases.
• Model payment state machines and status mappings between PSPs and the SCAYLE checkout and order lifecycle.
• Translate PSD2/SCA, 3DS2, PCI DSS, and tokenization requirements into actionable product requirements.
• Partner with engineering, PSP contacts, and business stakeholders to validate implementations, resolve live payment issues, and drive decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or Technical Product Owner in e-commerce, fintech, or payments.
• Strong understanding of authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks, tokenization, recurring payments, PSPs, acquirers, card schemes, and digital wallets.
• Hands-on experience with PSP integrations and reading REST API documentation, webhook specifications, and sequence diagrams.
• Working knowledge of PSD2/SCA, 3DS2, and PCI DSS implications for checkout architectures.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications in agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
• Fluent English communication skills for technical discussions, stakeholder alignment, and PSP partner management.
