What you will do

• Analyze, design, and implement databases, including data models, logical and physical databases, schemas, and data dictionaries.
• Maintain organization-wide databases across multiple platforms and computing environments.
• Develop and implement database recovery plans, analysis policies, and technical standards.
• Manage large-scale technical projects and processes with limited oversight.
• Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professional staff.
• Collaborate with database software vendors and external technical support for upgrades and problem resolution.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of functional experience, including at least 5 years of position-specific experience.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience in a related field.
• Proven expertise as a subject matter expert in database design and administration.
• Ability to solve complex technical projects and influence organizational policies and practices.
