Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Senior/Java

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java frameworks and tools for Shift-Left QA automation.
• Build automation solutions for new features and enhancements using Java, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Debug complex software issues, optimize application performance, and refactor code.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, test managers, release managers, configuration specialists, and other stakeholders.
• Own specific framework and tool components while contributing to agile process improvement.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience with frameworks such as JEE, Spring, OSGi, or Angular.
• Experience with REST APIs and message-based systems, including XML and JSON.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges in a collaborative environment.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with the hirify.global Banking System.
• Experience with Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Jest, Gatling, LoadRunner, or JMeter.
• Knowledge of Oracle database architecture and CI/CD test integration.
• Experience with cloud architecture, containers, microservices, Kubernetes, OpenShift, OCI, AWS, or Azure.
• Practical experience using open-source libraries and tools in development projects.
