QA Engineer (Java)

Location: Hybrid work in Porto two days per week; candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Java and Groovy.
• Define behavior-driven tests with Cucumber and Gherkin in collaboration with business analysts.
• Test and validate REST APIs and Web UIs using Chrome Driver and Windows Driver.
• Manage test cases, defects, and non-regression validation with JIRA and Xray.
• Use Windows command-line tools to support infrastructure maintenance, tool configuration, and CI/CD pipeline execution.

Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience in QA automation.
• Proficiency in Java and Groovy for test scripting.
• Working knowledge of Cucumber, Gherkin, REST APIs, HTML, and CSS.
• Practical experience with JIRA, Xray, Agile delivery, and CI/CD.
• Fluent English at B2 level.
• Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit, with availability for hybrid work in Porto two days per week.
