QA Engineer II (Java based Manual and Automated Testing) (Java)

What you will do

• Validate core backend applications and identify functional issues early in the development cycle.
• Review specifications and architecture, providing feedback on risks, gaps, and quality concerns.
• Define functional and non-functional test strategies, plans, and cases with requirements traceability.
• Design and execute manual and automated tests, validate features, and provide go or no-go decisions based on exit criteria.
• Maintain regression test cases and CI/CD pipelines, address flaky tests, and improve automation frameworks.
• Report, investigate, and verify defects while communicating testing progress and milestones to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in QA or software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Selenium and Cypress.
• Experience with regression, functional, performance, and unit testing.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, attention to detail, communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of Agile software development life cycle methodologies.
