Location: Remote field service role within a 1–2 hour radius surrounding Bismarck, North Dakota, United States. Residence within a reasonable 30–60 minute commute of the assigned territory is required. The role includes travel to customer locations, including out-of-town and overnight travel, and occasional paid training in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Salary: $30–$35 per hour, geographically adjusted based on cost of living; overtime eligible after 8 hours worked in a day.

What you will do
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
- Set up, install, and pipe compressor systems.
- Develop expertise in variable-speed drives, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
- Clean customer equipment pads and inspect related skids, coolers, concrete areas, and tanks.
- Communicate service results and repair or upgrade options to customers and the Service Manager.
- Complete service, startup, warranty, oil sample, and parts return documentation while participating in the rotating 24/7/365 on-call schedule.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical work.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical theory, with experience using computers for work orders, parts ordering, and training.
- High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, fluent English, and ability to provide basic required tools.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, provide customer-focused service, and follow safety and personal protective equipment procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes, continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
- Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of the assigned US territory and be able to park a company-issued branded service vehicle at the residence without restrictions.
Nice to have
- Experience maintaining, overhauling, and repairing industrial equipment involving electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
- HVAC experience.
- EPA certification or other relevant certifications.
