Videojet Field Service Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Home-based in the Houston, Texas area, United States, with regional travel throughout the Greater Houston area and occasional overnight travel.

Salary: $28.00–$30.00 USD per hour, plus incentive pay.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair coding and marking equipment at customer facilities.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Travel throughout the Greater Houston territory to support manufacturing customers, primarily during daytime hours.
• Act as a technical advisor and problem solver while building trusted customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities to promote service agreements and newer technology solutions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned Houston-area territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to comply with customer safety requirements, PPE standards, and site access policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform standing, lifting, stretching, bending, and squatting throughout the day.
• Technical degree or relevant military training is preferred; equivalent relevant work history is welcome.
