Technical Program Manager 2 (AdTech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Reston, Virginia; the description also lists Chicago, Illinois as an office-optimal location. Must coordinate with team members across multiple remote locations and time zones.

Salary: $95,974.38–$143,961.57 annual base pay for Virginia.

What you will do

• Lead delivery across multiple teams or a platform area from planning through completion.
• Manage milestones, project plans, critical-path tasks, cross-team dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and backlog refinement while tracking team velocity and capacity.
• Lead quarterly planning with Product and Engineering, balancing new work, technical debt, and platform stability.
• Identify systemic delivery inefficiencies and lead process improvement and resolution efforts.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks, SDLC practices, backlog management, and estimation techniques.
• Experience managing delivery for one or more teams and coordinating cross-functional dependencies.
• Skills in facilitating standups and retrospectives, identifying and mitigating risks, and using Jira, Confluence, and planning tools.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends when necessary.

Nice to have

• Experience coaching teams on agile maturity, delivery best practices, and SDLC optimization.
• Experience mentoring junior delivery managers and team members.
