Delivery Manager (Data Center Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of physical installation projects, including scheduling, contractor coordination, and QA/QC.
• Serve as the primary on-site technical point of contact for Low Voltage Contractors and internal engineering teams.
• Manage deployment milestones, material delivery, and staging while reporting progress and delays.
• Conduct multi-stage QA inspections on rack placement, cable routing, grounding, and labeling.
• Perform advanced optical loss testing (OLTS, OTDR) and verify copper integrity.
• Generate final test reports, as-builts, and RCAs for handoff to operations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work from New York, Austin, San Francisco, or Seattle.
• Travel: Must be willing to travel 50% for onsite turn-ups.
• Expertise in fiber optics, structured cabling, and data center physical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in advanced fiber testing tools (OTDR, VFL, power meter).
• Ability to read and translate technical drawings (AutoCAD, Visio).
• Experience racking, stacking, and cabling servers and network hardware at scale.

Nice to have

• BICSI RCDD or vendor certifications (Cisco, Juniper).
• Experience with hyperscale standardization programs.
• ITIL certification.
