Senior Technical Account Manager (AI/Cloud FinOps)

Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA, United States

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually, plus equity and commission

What you will do

• Lead strategic customer onboarding, implementation initiatives, joint success planning workshops, and executive business reviews.
• Analyze cloud and AI cost intelligence data, identify cost growth drivers, and advise customers on optimization and business outcomes.
• Build strategic relationships across engineering, operations, finance, and executive stakeholders while representing the customer voice internally.
• Monitor adoption metrics, KPIs, customer controls, and service trends to improve customer outcomes and NPS.
• Develop scalable technical solutions, playbooks, and runbooks tailored to customer size, roadmaps, and requirements.
• Mentor and coach TAMs, support cross-functional product initiatives, and create clear standards for analysis and presentations.

Requirements

• 3+ years consulting on AWS, GCP, and/or Azure services or solutions.
• 3+ years in Technical Account Management, DevOps, or a related role within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience developing and communicating cloud financial analysis and optimization recommendations to technical and finance stakeholders.
• Expertise in cloud spend, resource reservations, tagging strategies, and data-driven customer consulting.
• Advanced Excel data analysis skills, including VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, named ranges, and pivot tables.
• Experience building BI dashboards and expert SQL authoring skills.

Nice to have

• AWS, GCP, or Azure certifications, including AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Digital Leader, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, or Azure AZ-900.
• FinOps, FOCUS, or Azure Cost Management certifications.
