TL;DR
L1 IT Technician (Data Center) (H200 GPU cloud infrastructure): Supporting data center IT infrastructure and resolving server hardware issues with an accent on hardware installation, fiber-optic connectivity, and infrastructure maintenance. Focus on troubleshooting enterprise server and network equipment, processing RMAs, and documenting hardware procedures.
Location: Reykjanesbær, Iceland; onsite work in the colocation in Keflavík, Iceland

What you will do
- Resolve IT hardware issues and support data center infrastructure.
- Install, upgrade, and dismantle hardware as requested.
- Connect fiber-optic and patch cords.
- Plan and process recurring IT infrastructure tasks.
- Process RMAs according to established manuals.
- Collaborate with related departments and external contractors and write hardware operation manuals.
Requirements
- Practical experience resolving server hardware issues.
- Knowledge of data center principles and server and network equipment.
- Basic Linux and command-line skills.
- Experience with server hardware, enterprise network switches, and fiber optics.
- Experience with Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, lists, and charts.
- Strong written and spoken fluency in English.
