What you will do

• Review and verify preliminary studies of hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management for projects.
• Collaborate with permitting, geotech, and civil SMEs to support entitlement acquisition and pre-construction.
• Perform detailed civil design reviews and provide recommendations for wind, solar, and BESS projects.
• Conduct site visits to identify development risks and perform safety walks to ensure job-site compliance.
• Develop design solutions for repairs and modifications to existing systems in collaboration with asset management.
• Mentor team members on industry trends, best practices, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in civil design, land development, and stormwater analysis.
• Strong technical background in earthwork analysis, drainage, and road design.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D or other advanced modeling tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify required).
• Ability to travel up to 25% for project locations and partner offices.

Nice to have

• PE qualification or on track to become qualified.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-5+ years of experience with Solar PV, BESS, or Wind design.
• Spanish language skills.
• OSHA 10-hr certification.
