Salary: €70,400–€96,800 per year

What you will do

  • Lead FMECA activities across system, design, and process levels and maintain the technical risk register.
  • Develop verification and qualification plans aligned with the V-Model, risks, and technical requirements.
  • Design experiments, execute or coordinate testing, collect data, and document objective evidence of compliance.
  • Drive the transition from prototypes to manufacturable products using DfX rules and engineering discipline.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams on industrialization milestones.
  • Standardize verification, qualification, and risk-management processes and capture lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in R&D, engineering, or high-tech industrial environments with established production processes.
  • Hands-on experience with verification, qualification, or risk-driven productization activities.
  • Strong knowledge of FMECA methodologies and structured V-Model processes.
  • Skills in data analysis, experimental design, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools, simulation software, and analysis platforms such as MATLAB or Python.

Nice to have

  • Experience with electron microscopy, electron-optical modules, or precision instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of DfX principles, vacuum systems, high-voltage hardware, or cleanroom practices.
  • Experience with reliability engineering, lifetime qualification, or low-volume, high-value manufacturing.
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or physics discipline.
