Lecturer in Business (Higher Education)

Location: London, United Kingdom; face-to-face teaching with flexibility to travel to Holborn, Fitzrovia, Southall, Wembley, Kingsbury, and Harrow campuses. The schedule may include evenings and weekends.

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum, subject to skills and experience.

What you will do

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials across undergraduate and postgraduate business programmes.
• Design and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms.
• Set, assess, and provide feedback on assignments and examinations.
• Provide academic and pastoral support, including support for students with learning needs.
• Contribute to quality assurance, module and programme evaluations, scholarship, and curriculum enhancement.
• Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant business-related field.
• Experience teaching in higher education and strong digital teaching capability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of higher education quality assurance and validation processes.
• Flexible, student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification if not already held.

Nice to have

• PhD, near-completion PhD, or equivalent industry experience.
• Research or enterprise activity involvement.
• Teaching qualification such as FHEA, SHEA, PGCAP, or AHEA.
• Experience leading modules or academic teams.
