TL;DR

Data Mentor: Providing technical support and feedback to apprentices in data skills with an accent on formative/summative assessments, portfolio development, and end-point assessment preparation. Focus on monitoring learner progression, delivering mentoring sessions, and ensuring gold-standard teaching outcomes.

Location: Home based, UK (with occasional travel to our London office)

What you will do

• Conduct formative and summative assessments against apprenticeship standards
• Support learners in developing high-quality project portfolios
• Prepare apprentices for end-point assessments and gateway entry
• Deliver weekly 1:1 and group mentoring sessions with technical support
• Provide progress updates to learner success team and support content development
• Act as point of contact for portfolio queries and general guidance

Requirements

• Based in the UK for home-based work with occasional London office travel
• Relevant technical qualifications and industry experience in data
• Experience in teaching, apprenticeships, or similar mentoring roles
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work independently/under pressure
