Pricing Manager (Retail)

Location: Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom; hybrid, with 60% of the week spent collaborating from office locations or local sites and the rest remotely.

What you will do

• Develop pricing frameworks and insights that translate business strategy into commercial initiatives and pricing actions.
• Structure and perform analyses for strategic projects, including price architecture and price investment.
• Translate pricing strategy, frameworks, and policies into channel-specific recommendations for approval and implementation.
• Work with category, insight, and channel teams to align recommendations with commercial strategy and execute solutions efficiently.
• Conduct ad hoc research and analysis to diagnose performance and operational issues.
• Balance short-term projects with long-term initiatives and represent the pricing team across Tesco.

Requirements

• Knowledge of grocery retail, commercial operations, and pricing.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Willingness to engage with science-based forecasting and optimisation systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively across a diverse network of commercial stakeholders.
