Solutions Architect, Applied AI

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid policy requires staff to be in an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time. Occasional travel to customer sites across Australia is required.

What you will do

• Partner with account executives across Australia to understand enterprise requirements and translate business objectives into technical solutions.
• Act as the primary technical advisor throughout customer discovery, evaluation, adoption, and deployment of Claude.
• Support customers building with the Claude API and Claude for Work.
• Design scalable cloud architectures and guide integration with existing enterprise technology stacks.
• Create technical content for engineering, development, and executive audiences, and deliver workshops and technical deep dives.
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks and share common integration patterns with Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
• Experience working with enterprise customers and complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to executives, engineering teams, and IT stakeholders.
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating enterprise systems.
• Comfort with Python and familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools, machine learning, or data science.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and professional experience in a relevant field.
