System Architect - Senior Systems Engineer (AI Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and realize architectural updates across the existing product range and expand the product ecosystem within a consistent framework.
• Own architectural design from high-level system architecture through component-level design.
• Align product ecosystem decisions with the product roadmap and define how products work independently, together, and with compatible third-party systems.
• Develop reusable hardware and software architectures that support portability across applications and scale with product growth.
• Balance cost of goods, supply chain constraints, resilience, quality, and industry best practices in hardware designs.
• Ensure software development and external communication interfaces meet product requirements and agreed frameworks such as NIST and AUSDEFCON.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechanical, or Computer Systems Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience as a design engineer working across multidisciplinary design teams.
• Expertise in at least one engineering discipline and competency in others.
• Experience in deep tech, robotics, SaaS-hardware hybrid, or high-reliability manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including explaining complex statistical models to non-technical stakeholders.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, decisive problem-solving, and a bias for action.
