BRCC Digital Product Owner - Wealth InFocus (FinTech)

Location: Hybrid work in NYC, Newark, NJ, or Edgewood, NY

Salary: $135,000–$140,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own the Wealth InFocus product development backlog and align priorities with product strategy, customer needs, and business goals.
• Serve as Product Owner for one or more Agile Scrum teams, providing direction throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Translate product strategy into epics, features, user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, release planning, user acceptance testing, and product demonstrations.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, UX, Platform, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to coordinate delivery.
• Drive platform modernization, scalability improvements, integrations, new capabilities, and expansion into new industries and client segments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of Product Owner, Product Management, or Business Analysis experience.
• Demonstrated Product Owner experience with Agile Scrum teams, including backlog ownership, sprint planning, user story development, acceptance criteria, and acceptance testing.
• Experience leading complex software initiatives from concept through delivery and balancing business value, customer needs, and technical complexity.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum, product lifecycle management, and iterative software delivery.
• Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, wealth management, brokerage, retirement, insurance, FinTech, or enterprise SaaS.
• Experience with platform modernization, APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile lifecycle tools.
• CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience leading digital transformation or enterprise platform initiatives.
