Data Engineer (Azure/Fabric)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks.
• Integrate data into Azure Data Lake Storage or OneLake and develop optimized ELT/ETL processes.
• Build and maintain Fabric artefacts, including lakehouses, warehouses, notebooks, dataflows, and semantic models.
• Perform advanced transformations with SQL, Python, Spark, and Fabric Data Engineering capabilities for analytics and reporting.
• Manage Power BI data models, datasets, semantic models, and reusable BI components.
• Apply Purview governance and security practices, troubleshoot production workloads, contribute to CI/CD, and collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Databricks.
• Experience with Fabric and data architecture, as well as data migrations.
• Understanding of stringent data governance requirements.
• Ability to consult with clients and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Proven experience mentoring teams.
• Experience with advanced data transformations using SQL, Python, Spark, or Fabric Data Engineering capabilities.
