TL;DR
Data Engineer (Python): Building and optimizing reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, workflow orchestration, and cloud-based data platforms with an accent on data quality, scalability, and modern data architecture. Focus on designing production-ready data solutions, solving cross-source reliability challenges, and delivering data products across multiple European markets.
Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with attendance at the London office in Euston 1–2 times weekly

What you will do
- Build, maintain and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Develop and support data workflows with Airflow and similar orchestration tools.
- Work with cloud-based data platforms to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, reliability and consistency across multiple data sources.
- Support the evolution of modern data architecture and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts and stakeholders to deliver data products, documentation and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Strong Python development skills and experience building production-ready data solutions.
- Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data engineering workflows.
- Knowledge of SQL and data modelling concepts.
- Experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS; Azure and GCP are also valued.
- Experience with GitHub, GitLab or similar version control platforms, plus strong problem-solving and ownership skills.
Nice to have
- Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Docker, Kubernetes or container-based deployments.
- Experience in data, analytics, digital or media environments.
