Azure Data Engineer

What you will do

• Ingest, warehouse, and store large-scale data in Azure as reusable data assets.
• Build and provision data products for internal and external customers based on commercial requirements.
• Design and improve Azure Data Factory and Synapse pipelines, applying data engineering best practices.
• Migrate legacy databases and storage to Azure cloud lakes and warehouses.
• Contribute to solution architecture, data modeling, and design decisions.
• Own releases from development through production using DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing complex cloud ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, data mappings, and end-to-end ETL lifecycles.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, relational and non-relational databases, SQL, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark notebooks, data exploration, data quality, and pipeline efficiency.
• Knowledge of scripting, automation, Agile methodology, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Understanding of data compliance and lifecycle management.

Nice to have

• Coding experience with Python or PySpark.
• Experience with Azure Fabric or Power Automate.
• Experience with CosmosDB, MongoDB, and unstructured data pipelines.
