Attorney

Location: Hybrid role requiring time in the Philadelphia office at 1500 Market Street, Suite 2400, Centre Square West, Philadelphia, PA 19102.

Salary: $129,500–$175,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 24% of base salary.

What you will do

• Handle litigation and other legal assignments under Law Department guidelines.
• Develop trial strategy and case plans.
• Prepare and summarize reports for legal proceedings.
• Attend trials, mediations, depositions, hearings, and other litigation events.
• Manage assigned files and travel to job-related activities as required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience.
• Litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, medical malpractice, personal injury, or public-sector defense.
• Knowledge of applicable discovery rules, trial procedures, and substantive law.
• Experience with trials, mediation, and depositions, along with strong written and oral communication skills.
• J.D. from an A.B.A.-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Active Pennsylvania law license and good standing with the State Bar of Pennsylvania required; applicants must already be eligible to work lawfully in the U.S.
