Salary: $130,000 – $189,000/year.

What you will do

• Independently represent insureds before the court, presenting witnesses and evidence.
• Analyze complex legal issues and develop initial defense strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and written discovery.
• Handle all activities related to full trials and appeals.
• Provide legal advice to the claims department and maintain effective communication with clients.
• Travel to depositions, court appearances, and client meetings (approx. 20% of time).

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school required.
• Member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction required.
• 7+ years of legal experience in the jurisdiction required.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
