Senior Trial Attorney (Wexford)

Location: Wexford, Pennsylvania; must reside within 35 miles of 2559A Brandt School Road. Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Salary: $138,000–$243,000 annually; expected starting range: $138,000–$206,000.

What you will do

• Represent clients under commercial and personal lines insurance policies as independent lead counsel or as part of a litigation team.
• Manage a varied caseload across courts and agencies, including property and casualty insurance defense and subrogation matters.
• Apply trial advocacy, negotiation, legal analysis, and proactive case management to meet client and claims expectations.
• Evaluate cases and provide timely, factually and legally sound valuation opinions.
• Monitor changes in law, local rules, technology, and procedural requirements affecting litigation strategy.
• Build professional relationships, develop referral opportunities, and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license in the state where the position is located.
• Typically more than eight years of relevant civil litigation experience in property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation.
• Significant litigation, trial advocacy, negotiation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, time management, decision-making, technology, and complex case coordination skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
