Special Assets Portfolio Manager II (Finance)

Location: Hybrid, requiring in-office work four days per week, based in Buffalo, NY; Bridgeport, CT; Metro NYC; Boston, MA; Baltimore, MD; or Wilmington, DE.

Salary: $103,000–$171,600 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Support Workout Officers and Special Assets leadership with credit underwriting and portfolio management.
• Prepare underwriting approval memos, Problem Loan Management Reports, scorecards, and regulatory and management reports.
• Track financial statements, appraisals, covenant compliance, and borrowing base certificates.
• Conduct client due diligence, including trade reference verification, credit reports, and industry and company research.
• Analyze financial information and assist with cash-flow schedules, collateral schedules, covenant sensitivity calculations, financial models, and guarantor statement analysis.
• Participate in client meetings, internal strategy discussions, special projects, and compliance and audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent related experience.
• At least five years of commercial lending or commercial credit experience.
• Very strong financial analytical skills and knowledge of credit principles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and departmental software.
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills, with the ability to work under critical time constraints.
• Ability to work in the office four days per week at one of the listed U.S. locations.
