SI/PI Tech Project Manager

Location: San Jose, California, USA; on-site at the hirify.global office 5 days a week

Annual base salary: USD 143,800–230,000, plus discretionary annual bonus and equity opportunities.

hirify.global develops high-performance ASIC package, PCB, and system designs for artificial intelligence, networking, high-performance computing, and 5G applications.

What you will do

• Lead technical execution for 20+ concurrent package and PCB design projects, including scope, schedules, and resources.
• Support and develop engineering team members while coordinating team, customer, vendor, and cross-functional activities.
• Communicate project plans, status, next steps, risks, and technical decisions clearly.
• Create technical methodologies for signal integrity and power integrity solutions.
• Support package and PCB technologies for ASICs with high-speed SerDes, optics, HBM, DDR5, and high-power delivery requirements.
• Coordinate SI/PI simulations, lab measurements, measurement correlation, equipment needs, and design-flow activities.

Requirements

• BSEE and 12+ years of experience in ASIC and system signal and power integrity for high-speed SerDes.
• At least 3 years of management experience and previous experience managing people and projects.
• Knowledge of package-level, PCB-level, and system-level signal integrity and power integrity.
• Technical understanding of SI/PI EDA extraction and simulation, SerDes channel results, passive and active lab measurements, and measurement correlation.
• Experience with package and PCB lifecycles, design flows, substrates, system trade-offs, and design data such as MCM files, package spreadsheets, drawings, lids, and substrates.
• Ability to work on-site at the hirify.global office 5 days per week and collaborate with worldwide teams across multiple time zones.
