Commercial Credit Manager, Healthcare

What you will do

• Lead a team of up to 10 Commercial Credit professionals supporting commercial clients throughout the deal and loan lifecycle.
• Oversee credit underwriting, financial statement analysis, collateral and cash flow assessment, risk ratings, and credit structure recommendations.
• Monitor portfolios through annual reviews, interim updates, covenant monitoring, problem-loan management, and early-warning indicators.
• Assess emerging risks, material changes, policy issues, and compliance with loan agreements.
• Assign relationships, prioritize workflow, review final analyses, and support Regional Credit Officers and Loan Committees.
• Recruit, mentor, train, develop, and manage the performance of the Commercial Credit team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 9 years of related experience and 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience; alternatively, 13 years of combined higher education and work experience with the same experience requirements.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with financial modeling, risk assessment tools, complex credit structures, and syndicated loans.
• Knowledge of credit risk-rating models and loan or portfolio management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Nice to have

• MBA, advanced degree, or CPA.
• Experience with Capital IQ, FactSet, and Bloomberg.
