Senior Analyst / Associate, Portfolio Management, Healthcare Finance

Location: Chevy Chase, Maryland, United States; hybrid workplace with work primarily conducted in an office setting.

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Manage portfolio credit risk and monitor asset quality, borrower performance, financial condition, and credit risk indicators.
• Manage day-to-day borrowing activity for assigned asset-backed loan investments in accordance with bank policies.
• Analyze borrower financial statements and build projections to assess repayment ability under different economic scenarios.
• Prepare loan underwriting and modification approval materials, risk-rating assessments, criticized-asset reviews, and portfolio reports.
• Manage loan maturities, past-due accounts, credit files, documentation, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
• Participate in portfolio reviews, client site visits, due diligence, recruiting, onboarding, training, and special projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in portfolio management, credit analysis, loan underwriting, public accounting, corporate FP&A, structured finance, or leveraged finance.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills and a firm grasp of accounting and finance.
• High proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, quantitative, and qualitative analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
