TL;DR
Sr. Full-Stack Developer (Python & Java) (Securities-Based Lending platform): Building scalable, secure, and resilient full-stack applications, REST APIs, backend services, and cloud-native infrastructure for a lending platform with an accent on Python, Java, modern web interfaces, and AWS delivery. Focus on designing microservices, implementing automated testing and CI/CD pipelines, solving production issues, and improving engineering standards across an Agile team.
Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work required

develops a cloud-native Securities-Based Lending platform for wealth managers, private banks, and financial institutions.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for the Securities-Based Lending platform using Angular and/or React.
- Build scalable Python and Java backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Develop secure, resilient AWS cloud-native applications using DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Design and maintain automated unit, integration, and API testing across backend services, APIs, and user interfaces.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, participate in architecture and technical design reviews, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and Engineering teams in Agile Scrum ceremonies and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience, including strong Python and FastAPI experience.
- Commercial experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Frontend development experience with Angular or React, plus strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills and working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other enterprise relational databases, Git, and Agile Scrum teams.
- Experience developing AWS cloud-native applications using services such as ECS, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Excellent written and verbal English, strong problem-solving skills, and experience creating automated tests in CI/CD environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with Flask, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Nomad, Helm, Clojure, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, OpenAPI, OAuth2/JWT, event-driven architecture, or distributed systems.
- Experience in financial services, securities-based lending, or banking platforms.
