Sr Business Development & Ops Lead, Robotics & Physical AI

Salary: $250,000–$350,000 base salary per year, plus equity awards

What you will do

• Develop market and technical understanding of robotics, Physical AI, simulation, autonomous systems, and related technologies.
• Identify customers, use cases, and deployment problems where robotics technology can create differentiated value.
• Conduct customer discovery and translate technical constraints and unmet needs into feedback for research, engineering, and product teams.
• Shape and execute customer engagements, pilots, partnerships, technical evaluations, and commercial agreements.
• Own strategic opportunities from prospecting and negotiation through contracting and close.
• Build the operational foundation for an early commercial function, including pipelines, processes, forecasting, and follow-through.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in related industries.
• Deep experience in robotics, Physical AI, autonomous systems, simulation, or adjacent frontier technology, with exposure to customers, products, or deployments.
• Technical fluency for credible collaboration with researchers and engineers.
• Strong understanding of robotics technology generations, including traditional automation, computer-vision-driven robotics, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, robot foundation models, and sim-to-real.
• Experience developing and closing complex B2B relationships and translating technical capabilities into pricing, business models, channel strategies, and scalable deployments.
• Experience as an early or founding commercial hire in a highly technical organization, with strong collaboration across research, engineering, product, and operations.
