Manager, Portfolio Execution

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week, including Thursdays. If based outside New York, 10% travel is required.

Salary: $123,372–$161,925 per year, plus benefits and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Translate enterprise and market strategy into execution plans, integrated roadmaps, and scalable delivery programs.
• Lead end-to-end program management across filing lifecycles, market expansions, new market implementations, and operational launches.
• Coordinate Product, Network, Regulatory, Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Market teams across concurrent workstreams.
• Maintain portfolio timelines, milestone tracking, RAID management, execution reporting, and portfolio health assessments.
• Identify dependencies, risks, scope changes, and resource constraints; coordinate mitigation plans and escalate decisions when needed.
• Facilitate governance forums, stage gates, working sessions, and executive updates while improving portfolio execution frameworks and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, strategic operations, consulting, or healthcare operations.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional enterprise initiatives with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
• Experience driving milestone management, execution reporting, risk mitigation, and accountability across teams.
• Ability to work from the New York office 3 days per week, with Thursday required in office.

Nice to have

• Healthcare payer, ACA marketplace, regulatory filing, or insurance operations experience.
• Experience with enterprise governance frameworks, stage gates, or PMO operations.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, or similar portfolio management and collaboration tools.
• Experience with regulatory, filing, operational readiness, or product implementation environments.
