Program Manager (Medical Technology)

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid work arrangement

Base salary: $150,000–$185,000 per year, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Coordinate and manage multiple cross-functional projects within product development programs.
• Lead detailed planning, execution, delivery, and communication for project teams.
• Identify project dependencies, risks, and resource needs, coordinating resolution across functions.
• Maintain and communicate plans, priorities, performance standards, and goals.
• Represent product development in audits and demonstrate traceability and compliance with written procedures.
• Introduce initiatives, improve processes, and resolve complex issues requiring analysis and judgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience, or an advanced degree with at least 4 years of experience.
• Experience delivering complex programs on time and within budget.
• Strong program planning, multi-project management, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate technical topics at a high level.
• Ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate, lead meetings, and hold project owners accountable.

Nice to have

• Experience in the software and medical industries.
• Experience with regulated SaaS products or software as a medical device.
• Advanced degree.
