UIR Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Tainan, Taiwan; customer-site work is required.

What you will do

• Install, assemble, align, test, upgrade, and relocate semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Analyze technical problems, collect diagnostic information, determine solutions, and coordinate escalations to second-line support.
• Prepare parts, tools, equipment, and technical information for customer machine-time windows and execute procedures according to current plans.
• Document work through pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, and technical reports.
• Identify process improvements, provide feedback on cycle time and performance, and train customers in equipment use and routine maintenance.
• Share best practices and coach less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Experienced UIR Engineer with a BSc in a relevant technical field, such as electrical technology, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in a technical industry is required; semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to work flexibly across different settings, locations, and collaborations.
• Experience using computer applications, data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
