Manufacturing Ops Lead (Semiconductors)

Location: Hybrid based in New Taipei City, Taiwan

What you will do

• Lead NPI, pilot, ramp, and sustaining builds across system integrators, mechanical suppliers, and OSAT partners.
• Own day-to-day factory engagement and ensure readiness across materials, processes, fixtures, test capacity, labor, and documentation.
• Establish operating cadences and performance management for output, WIP, shortages, yield, throughput, test performance, defects, rework, DPPM, cycle time, and shipment readiness.
• Resolve yield excursions, test failures, process drift, workmanship defects, material nonconformance, and schedule risks using structured problem-solving methods.
• Drive supplier accountability through performance reviews, scorecards, escalations, corrective actions, audits, change management, and capability development.
• Build and lead a Taiwan-based organization spanning supplier quality, production engineering, manufacturing test, and technician functions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in hardware, electronics, systems, or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing and developing cross-functional teams across supplier quality, production engineering, manufacturing test, and technician functions.
• Experience managing Taiwan- or Asia-based suppliers and contract manufacturers, including escalations, corrective actions, and capability improvements.
• Clear English communication is required for collaboration with global engineering, quality, supply chain, and program teams.
• Experience with 8D, CAPA, SPC, FMEA, control plans, and DOE is expected.
