Senior Business Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; office locations in Sydney, Melbourne, and/or Brisbane. Occasional business travel may be required.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day business analysis activities while reporting to the Project Manager.
• Define problem statements, elicit and own end-to-end requirements, and translate business goals into measurable outcomes.
• Work with solution leads and architects to design reporting, data models, automations, and integrations.
• Lead alignment across business and technology stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and propose improved solutions.
• Lead solution testing and support customer User Acceptance Testing.
• Identify and mitigate concerns and blockers, while mentoring junior resources.

Requirements

• 7+ years of business analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of BABOK and advanced requirements elicitation and analysis skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge stakeholders constructively.
• Systems thinking, data-driven decision-making, commercial awareness, and detailed solution design capability.
• Experience or exposure to RPA, automations, and integrations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, SafetyCulture, Workato, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
