Senior Business Analyst

Location: New Zealand, with flexible work from hubs in Auckland, Wellington or Tauranga and other major centres across Aotearoa. Candidates must have the right to live and work in New Zealand.

What you will do

• Lead discovery, analysis and requirements definition for a strategically important customer transformation programme.
• Translate complex business needs into clear outcomes and deliverables for technical teams.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across retail, technology, architecture and delivery.
• Own requirements, prioritisation decisions and documentation standards across programme workstreams.
• Influence future-state customer journeys, operating models, processes and platform capabilities.
• Contribute to the Business Analysis Chapter through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Requirements

• Significant Business Analysis experience in complex Agile delivery environments.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in retail and customer-centric environments, including CRM-related initiatives.
• Strong Agile delivery experience with user stories and backlog refinement.
• Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions and decision-making forums.
• Confidence working across business and technical audiences, with familiarity with Confluence or similar tools.

Nice to have

• Salesforce delivery, integration or consultancy experience.
• Digital delivery experience.
• Experience in utilities or other multi-product customer environments.
• Experience guiding or providing oversight to other Business Analysts.
