Focus on defining roadmaps, translating client needs into technical requirements, coordinating cross-functional execution, and analyzing data to improve performance, reliability, and relevance.

What you will do
- Own the search platform roadmap, product strategy, prioritization, success metrics, and KPIs.
- Act as the primary product and technical contact for clients, leading onboarding, integrations, migrations, and platform adoption.
- Translate business needs into product requirements documents, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage end-to-end delivery across Business, Engineering, Data, and Operations, including dependencies, risks, timelines, SLAs, and quality.
- Drive A/B testing and data analysis to improve search relevance, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead launch planning, rollout monitoring, incident follow-ups, root-cause analysis, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of Product Management or Technical Product Management experience.
- Experience with search or recommendation systems, preferably in e-commerce.
- Fluent Japanese and English, written and spoken, are required.
- Experience with product roadmapping, prioritization, Agile delivery, data-driven decision-making, and experimentation.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar tools, plus strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with search, recommendation, or analytics platforms.
- Experience with platform, infrastructure, or internal developer products.
- Exposure to ML/AI or data-intensive systems.
- Engineering background or strong technical education.
- Experience in global or highly scaled organizations.
