Senior Engineering Project Team Lead - Mining Technologies

Location: Onsite five days a week at the Mossville, Illinois or Tucson, Arizona office. Full-time role with up to 10% travel. Domestic relocation assistance is available within the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $147,760–$221,640 per year.

What you will do

• Lead product development for the Driver Safety System through New Product Introduction.
• Define commercial and technical requirements with customers, dealers, commercial teams, engineering teams, suppliers, and third parties.
• Lead development of operator safety technologies, including fatigue and distraction detection, in-cab alerting, collision awareness, event visualization, and safety analytics.
• Manage cost estimation, budgets, product lifecycle R&D planning, resources, dependencies, and delivery risks across multiple engineering teams.
• Apply security, product safety, and compliance practices throughout engineering development.
• Coordinate Engineering, Commercial, Product Support, and Supply Chain stakeholders while improving cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in technical leadership within product development teams.
• Experience managing multiple high-risk, high-cost projects and applying software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively with engineering teams, business and executive stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.
• Experience integrating electronic and mechanical systems.
• Experience with mining, construction, operator safety technologies, in-cab monitoring systems, connected machine data, or safety products is relevant; 4+ years in mining, construction, or a related industry is preferred.
