PKG Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hwaseong-Lucestar, South Korea; on-site customer support and installations required

What you will do

• Provide customer support through on-site installations, system diagnosis, service, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced processes for semiconductor chip manufacturing.
• Design hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze experimental data statistically, and prepare reports with technical conclusions.
• Troubleshoot complex process and customer product issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement solutions.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to achieve technical objectives and build trusted relationships.
• Support process development across technologies including chemical vapor deposition, atomic layer deposition, plasma reactive ion etch, physical vapor deposition, anneal, and implant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication or equipment industry.
• English communication proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
