HMI Application Engineer (eBeam)

Location: Hwaseong or Pyeongtaek, South Korea. Customer-site work and travel to other cities in South Korea of up to 10% are required; overseas business travel may be necessary.

What you will do

• Develop new application use cases for eBeam inspection tools at customer sites.
• Investigate and resolve customer gap defects and application issues.
• Support new product JEP activities and wafer demonstrations.
• Execute projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend customer technical meetings and follow up on technical requests.
• Define customer technical requirements through product and roadmap analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Applicants with less than three years of experience must hold a master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• For experienced applicants, at least three years of experience in field service, semiconductor equipment, mechatronics, or automatic control is required.
• Knowledge of eBeam inspection or semiconductor processes, with strong problem-analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong coordination, communication, documentation, multitasking, and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work flexibly under pressure and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Inspection or metrology experience.
• Master’s degree in an engineering discipline for applicants with three or more years of experience.
