Advanced Packaging Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hwaseong-Lucestar, South Korea. Full-time role with approximately 20% travel; relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Support customers through on-site installations, system diagnoses, equipment service, and repairs.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Design hypothesis experiments and DOEs, analyze experimental data statistically, and prepare reports with technical conclusions.
• Troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues, perform root cause analyses, and resolve customer product problems.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve technical goals and build trusted relationships.
• Apply process and customer knowledge to evaluate solutions and solve a range of engineering problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• English communication proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
