Insurance Sales Specialist (Spanish Speaking)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; office-based

Salary: $22.00–$34.00 hourly, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Sell personal insurance products to individual customers.
• Conduct inbound and outbound calls with prospective clients.
• Educate customers about insurance products and address their insurance needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external referral sources.
• Meet goals for the volume and quality of new business quoted and written.
• Maintain current knowledge of products, services, technology, and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of sales and/or customer service experience.
• Spanish-speaking ability is required for the position.
• A valid Property and Casualty Insurance license, or the ability to obtain one within 45 days of hire.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
• Ability to manage a high volume of customers across different sales and service stages.

Nice to have

• Sales experience with a demonstrated ability to meet sales expectations and high-volume deadlines in a call center environment.
• Strong, personable phone communication style.
• Experience with complex products and processes.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Suite, comparative rater tools, and carrier websites.
