Location: Libertyville, Illinois, United States; frequent travel, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.

Salary: $215,000–$300,000 yearly, with potential eligibility for the Secure Start Bonus Plan.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute government affairs and public policy strategies aligned with business and market access priorities.
  • Monitor and influence legislative, regulatory, reimbursement, and healthcare policy developments.
  • Build executive-level relationships with commercial payers, healthcare organizations, associations, policymakers, regulators, and advocacy partners.
  • Assess pricing, reimbursement, payer policy, and healthcare market trends to recommend access and business strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with Legal, Compliance, Communications, Commercial, Market Access, and executive leadership.
  • Prepare executive briefings, recommendations, and strategic plans while overseeing advocacy initiatives, advisors, coalitions, and selected projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public policy, healthcare, science, or a related field.
  • 8–12 years of related experience, with 10+ years of progressive experience preferred.
  • Experience influencing senior executives, policymakers, payers, regulators, association leaders, and other complex external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare policy, reimbursement, payer dynamics, market access, and regulated industry environments.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and translate external trends into actionable business strategies.
  • Strong executive communication, business, financial, market, product, reimbursement, and performance analysis skills.
