Director, Industrial Engineering

Location: Santa Clara, CA; travel required 10% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $168,000–$231,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead strategic projects for Applied Global Services in collaboration with executive leadership.
• Analyze current-state business processes, identify and quantify opportunities, and develop improvement initiatives.
• Structure complex business problems, develop hypotheses, analyze large data sets, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare recommendations and deliverables for executive-level audiences and contribute to strategy and execution discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, validate hypotheses, co-create deliverables, accelerate execution, and unlock value.
• Optimize operations and business processes to improve performance, reduce cycle time, and lower costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Broad understanding and experience in logistics, financial reporting, operations, and service business management.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract insights from multiple data sources.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and influence others.
• Detail orientation and ability to connect the dots and communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma.
