Director, DBS - Supply Chain, Operations (Onsite: Deer Park, IL)

Location: On-site in Deer Park, Illinois, United States; approximately 25% travel, predominantly domestic with some international travel.

Annual salary: $191,000–$211,000, plus eligibility for bonus/incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives across Customer Care, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Operations, and other enabling functions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities with business leaders, translate challenges into roadmaps, and support strategic objectives.
• Apply Lean thinking and structured problem-solving to simplify transactional processes, eliminate waste, improve flow, and increase quality, delivery, cost performance, customer experience, productivity, and cycle time.
• Coach, mentor, and develop associates and leaders in TPI, Standard Work, Daily Management, PSP, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Establish sustainable operating mechanisms through visual performance management, metrics, governance, accountability, and daily management.
• Influence across functions, scale best practices, and ensure improvement solutions are sustained.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience leading continuous improvement, Lean, operational excellence, consulting, or business transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, Toyota Production System, DBS, or similar continuous improvement methodologies in transactional or business process environments.
• Experience in environments such as commercial operations, customer care, service, supply chain, or order-to-cash.
• Ability to partner strategically with business leaders, influence without authority, and deliver measurable, timebound improvements tied to business metrics.
• Ability to independently assess complex business processes, identify root causes, align stakeholders, and lead sustainable improvement plans.

Nice to have

• Experience improving processes related to Supply Chain, Customer Support, Production Planning, and/or Logistics Planning.
