Manager, Process Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; relocation eligible; travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $171,500.00–$236,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Lead the practical application of scientific theory and complex process technologies across the product line.
• Direct research, development, implementation, and enhancement of new and existing products.
• Resolve complex process engineering issues with key customers and address high-value problems.
• Lead alpha engineering activities and manage alpha and beta product releases.
• Align research and development activities with unit and Product Business Group strategies.
• Select and collaborate with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and technologies in the relevant engineering field.
• Expert-level functional knowledge, with recognition as a guru or external expert.
• Experience leading highly visible multidisciplinary projects or initiatives.
• Ability to solve highly complex problems using innovative methods.
• Ability to negotiate with senior management, customers, regulators, and vendors.
• Ability to work in or relocate to Santa Clara, California, with up to 10% travel.
