Maintenance - Mechanical Supervisor

Salary: $105,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and assign routine, predictive, and preventive maintenance schedules while coordinating machine downtime and production activities.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, and maintenance employees, including training, work allocation, and performance oversight.
• Protect plant equipment and facilities through failure analysis, operational troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and organization optimization.
• Maintain parts and supplies inventory, maintenance budgets, work schedules, and follow-up activities with a focus on cost control.
• Oversee the distributed control system and control network, and support the design and installation of new equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and injury-free work environment by ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, plus a technical degree or comparable experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Paper industry experience and strong mechanical, mathematical, analytical, organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, planning, follow-up, people management, and process management abilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work flexible hours as needed.
